PM Kisan Samelan

KVK Cuttack organized Live watching program of the release of 14th instalment of PM KISAN on July 27, 2023. A total of 50 farmers and farm women watched the live program at KVK campus, Santhapur. The Hon’ble Prime Minister released the benefit of 14th Instalment of the scheme to the farmers at Nagaur, Rajasthan. Everyone watched Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s message to farmers across the country. Dr Tusar Ranjan Sahoo, SMS (Horticulture), apprised the audience on the PM KISAN Program and summarized the events at the end of the live broadcast. Shri Debasish Jena, SMS (Agro meteorology), spoke on climate resilient technologies that farmers in the Cuttack district might adopt. Farmers took a tour of the KVK farm and learned about technologies such as DSR rice seed production, fruit orchard management, an apiary unit, an IFS unit, poultry, and a goatery unit in the KVK Campus. KVK team coordinated the program.
