PM Kisan Sammelan – 2022

On October 17, 2022, PM Kisan Sammelan program was conducted at KVK campus involving about 35 farmers and guests organized by KVK Cuttack. A farmer-scientist interaction was done to solve the problems of farmers along with live webcasting of PM Kisan event for dedication of PM Kisan amount to the beneficiaries accounts by Hon’ PM Sri Narendra Modi. On this occasion, Dr Biswajit Mondal, Principal Scientist, NRRI, Cuttack released an extension bulletin on “Rabies: Causes and Precautions”for creating awareness on the dreaded disease. He urged the participants to take the benefits of Government Schemes and programs for their economic and social gain. Dr Sujata Sethy, OIC and all Specialists of KVK Cuttack participated in the farmer scientist interaction for clearing their doubts and distributed saplings and vegetable seeds among the farmers.
